So if you're the type of person that likes to hit the weights in the gym, but wrap it up with a couple laps in the pool. Well, the Wellness center actually may be perfect for you. And then if CrossFit is more of your thing, we have CrossFit Hoagland and CrossFit FBG. And I must admit, I am a little biased when it comes to CrossFit Hoagland because I'm actually one of the coaches there. And, you know, we offer all kinds of class times throughout the day. Pretty much. We could fit you in any time throughout the day, but we also have specific workshop ups to help you achieve your Olympic weightlifting goals, your gymnastic goals, whatever it may be. We have all kinds of stuff going on at CrossFit who gone and what's also cool about our gym is that one of the co-owners, Lisa, she's actually a nutrition specialist and she offers nutrition coaching. And then for those of you who are into martial arts or combative training, war room jiu jitsu and fitness is the go to spot. Lastly, if you enjoy getting a sweat on in the great outdoors, I would recommend Camp Gladiator. But again, I'm a little biased when it comes to that because we have high intensity training at CrossFit who go on as well with a fantastic environment and community. But nonetheless, if you want to a outdoor workout program, Camp Gladiator may be a good choice for you. So no matter how you like to get your heart rate elevated, Fredericksburg can accommodate your needs. Okay, so now let's go ahead and jump into the sixth tip for today. Okay, so onto the fourth tip. And that is appreciating the wine atmosphere. So our town has been blossoming as the Napa Valley of Texas. And there's a really good reason. Unique soil and climate. Cook up some of the finest grapes around, birthing exquisite wines like Tempranillo and vineyard. But it ain't just about the wine. The growth of our vineyards and wineries has poured vitality into our local economy. We have more wine tours, bustling tasting rooms, jobs and a boost to local businesses. Okay, so steering into the third tip for today, let's talk about a blessing, but also a curse for some of us locals. And that is navigating the tourist crowds. So given our town's charm, it is no surprise that people are drawn to this gem every single weekend. And while it's always a joy to share our town's beauty, it can make running errands and just enjoying a quiet afternoon a little tricky. So the question is how do you maneuver this? First of all, I would say try to get your grocery shopping, bank runs, and any other routine activities done either on the weekdays or early in the mornings before things get a little too hectic with the tourist. Secondly, I would say embrace the backroads. So here in Fredericksburg and Gillespie County, we have some lesser known routes that can help you navigate around the densest traffic. And if you like visiting some of our popular spots, maybe it's time to become an early bird. Many of our attractions are less crowded first thing in the morning. And don't forget the off season. Some of the best local experiences can be had when the tourist tide slows a bit. And then I would say, lastly, just embrace it. The tourism is a testament to how special Fredericksburg is. Plus, the influx has brought with it a thriving economy and a myriad of cultural events. So yes, while it may take a little adjusting, just think about it this way the bustling streets is a sign of our towns success and vibrancy. Now, as we tread into our second tip, was touch on the heartbeat of Rexburg and discuss getting involved with our local activities and events. So engaging with folks here in Frankfort is not just about being neighborly, it's really about immersing oneself in the tapestry of rich traditions and celebrations. First, on the calendar, we have the beloved Octoberfest, an ode to our town's German heritage. It's a grand spectacle of Bavarian delights, from music and dances to mouthwatering wurst and beers. And then, as the year winds down, the holiday home tours and market gives a glimpse into the festive decorations of historic homes. Paired with a unique shopping experience. And then, come spring, the Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival celebrates with zesty crawfish boils, Cajun music and a carnival atmosphere. And then, speaking of spring, the wildflower celebration at Wild Seed Farms is a burst of color, celebrating our region's dazzling array of native blossoms. And then, of course, every week, us locals and visitors alike swarm to the local farmer's market at market plots where fresh produce, arts and crafts, and lively conversations flow freely. And these events we just discussed and countless others, aren't just dates on a calendar, they are a reflection of the soul of Fredericksburg.
